Sharon & Zohar

Picture
Sharon Quigley-Rosenthal 1967
"I have this vague memory of asking my mother to turn Mr. Zohar around to face the wall.  I was terrified of him.  I was 5". – Sharon Quigley-Rosenthal, granddaughter of Louis Rosenthal

Sharon Ann Rosenthal
(I changed my name to Sharon Quigley-Rosenthal.  Quigley was my mother's maiden name).

Michel Begun

Michel Begun, daughter of Louis Rosenthal
“Dad often said the only necessities of life that are of any importance are the seven arts: painting, sculpture, architecture, music, literature, drama and the dance.  He said money was a monster and always talked of keeping the wolf away from the door.  Several times I went to the door to see if there really was a wolf there”. - Michel Begun, daughter of Louis Rosenthal (Aunt of Sharon Quigley-Rosenthal)

"Mike" as she was known was named after Michelangelo.  I also just
discovered she was named after King Saul’s daughter – King David’s first wife.
